You can always see the status of your membership by looking at the top left corner of the page, just under the menu which will say if you are upgraded or a free member. You can also click on 'My Profile' and look to the right under 'Quick info' which will say until when your upgrade is valid.
 
Since December 8 2013 we are offering recurring/auto renewing memberships in addition to the one time memberships which do not re-bill once the upgrade expires. Note that recurring membership (= memberships that automatically extend) cost less than one time payments.
