As this community is all about you, the members who participate in it, we are going to ask the question and put it up for discussion so that we can come up with a sensible solution that makes sense to most.

Scope of the site and the idea behind it:

SpandexGuys is a networking site for guys who have a fetish for tight bulges in synthetic material (spandex/lycra).  Each person is allowed one profile in which he can tell others about himself, his likes, dislikes, all within the scope of the fetish. Most members take the time and effort to take pictures and post them and that is what draws people to the community and gets discussion and interaction going.

No Pictures or Profile Info

There are people who have not posted pictures of them or put information in their profiles. We have accepted that for now because we really want to avoid that people post pictures from the internet that are not of them or write some garbage in their profile just to satisfy a requirement to have pictures or information.  (It still happens)

The Question:

So, how can we convince people to share pictures and to put information in their profiles? We could force people to upload a picture when they register but will it really be them?

This is quite a serious discussion so please offer some constructive ideas which we can hopefully adapt as part of the overall solution and make the site more in tune with what you want.
